River beach of Mondim da Beira, Portugal

The river beach of Mondim da Beira is located along the Varosa river, in Northern Portugal. It is dominated by a Romanesque bridge built in the 13th century and along the riverbank there are a few water mills.
The beach has a bar and a small strip of sand. There's also a baby pool.

How to go: Public transport is scarce in this region so the best option is to go by car.
