Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy, Paris, France

This museum, located in the Jardin des Plantes and is part of the National History Museum.
It is divided into two main galleries, the Comparative Anatomy Gallery, which houses an imposing skeleton army, including animals that are extinguished such as the Steller's sea cow and the Tasmanian Tiger, and the Paleontology Gallery with impressively complete fossils, a display covering from the Paleozoic Era (540 to 250 million years ago) to the present.
The Pavilion was established in 1898 to preserve a number of scattered scientific collections.

Opening hours: Apr. to Sep., Sat., Sun. and Public Holidays, from 10 am to 6 pm; Oct. to Mar.  10 am to 5 pm; closed on Tuesdays.
Entrance fee: €7
