Casa Milà (La Pedrera), Barcelona, Spain

Casa Milà, also known as "La Pedrera", was built between 1906 and 1912 by Antonio Gaudi. Besides introducing a series of innovations, like energy saving and an underground car park, Gaudi also designed the furniture for the main floor. It is said that "La Pedrera" was inspired by a mountain. It was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984.
