Clerigos Tower, Oporto, Portugal

The Clerigos tower is a bell tower, part of Clerigos church and a symbol of Oporto.
It was built between 1754 and 1763, in the baroque style, by order of the Brotherhood of Clerigos. It has 6 floors, 240 steps and is 75.6 m tall, the tallest building in Portugal at the time of construction. It's mainly made of marble and granite.
Its designer was Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, who designed a series of buildings in Northern Portugal in the 18th century.
