El Bañuelo, Granada, Spain

The Bañuelo contains a hammam (Arab baths) from the 11th century. This is one of the few baths that escaped the destruction promoted by the Christian Monarchs, as hammams were thought to be brothels. A private house was built on top of this hammam that, notwithstanding, is very well preserved.

Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Entrance fee (standard): €2.20
