Archaeological Crypt in Notre Dame, Paris, France

The archaeological crypt might be overlooked, as it is located right in front of the much more popular Notre Dame Cathedral, in Paris. Whatever its name might suggest, the crypt actually houses excavations showing the urban development of Paris since ancient times.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m till 6 p.m.
Closed on Mondays, May 1 and August 15.

Ticket (standard): €5


How to get there: The crypt is in front of Notre Dame Cathedral, closest metro/ RER stations Cité or Saint-Michel
