Saint Catherine Church, Brussels, Belgium

Despite its Gothic appearance, Saint Catherine church was actually built between 1854 and 1874, over the foundation of a 14th-century church, of which only a tower remains. Its style is inspired by the 16th-century French churches and is a mixture of Gothic in its shapes and Baroque in its decorations.

Opening hours: Mon-Sat 9.30 am to 8 pm (7 pm on Sun)
How to go: Sainte-Catherine metro station

  1. Magnificent enough to catch anybody’s reaction, this is a beautiful church. All the pictures are very mesmerizing. I planned to visit the Royal Palace of Brussels in April now I think I will have to add Saint Catherine Church, as well to my list. I could not find any way to apply for my visa and therefore I am so late in my trip otherwise I planned it for March itself. However now I have got a trusted website to apply for my visa online and I will get it by the 12th of March. After that I can easily book all my itinerary and travel.
